About Leigh
I believe that healing is not something that is given to us, but something our bodies remember when the right conditions are created.
For over twenty years, I have dedicated my life to studying the many ways human beings heal—through the nervous system, through nature, through relationship, and through the innate intelligence that exists within each of us. My work weaves together the science of chiropractic and Traditional Chinese Medicine with the ancient wisdom of plant medicine, creating an approach that is both deeply grounded and profoundly intuitive.
My educational background includes Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Anthropology, a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic, along with extensive postgraduate training in Network Spinal, non-force chiropractic techniques, craniosacral therapy, yoga, and classical acupuncture traditions.
For more than a decade, I have also been a devoted student of the Peruvian Shipibo lineage, spending years in apprenticeship with the plants through the traditional practice of dieta. This relationship has shaped not only my understanding of healing, but my way of living—teaching me that transformation arises through consistency, reciprocity, humility, and deep listening.
Whether through Network Spinal care, acupuncture, ceremonial plant work, or immersive healing experiences on the land, my intention is never to fix another person. Rather, it is to create a space where the nervous system can unwind, the body can return to balance, and each individual can reconnect with their own inner wisdom and capacity for healing.
I don't believe healing is a destination. I believe it is a way of living.
